Gill, D., Irving-Bell, D., McLain, M. & Wooff, D. (Eds) (in press). Bloomsbury Handbook of Technology Education. London: Bloomsbury Publishing.

Similar to the Springer handbook, this text is written by international scholars in the field and is scheduled for publication in 2023. It is comprised of carefully curated and commissioned chapters on technology education praxis (theory and practice).

In this new edition, edited by Alison Hardy, international academics and teachers write about some of the key debates in D&T education today. Debates will be more accessible and affordable than the Bloomsbury and Springer handbooks, which are written for the academic market.

DOI: 10.1007/978-3-030-41548-8

Critique is a relatively new term in technology education circles, which dives deeper into thinking with and about technology than simple evaluation of ideas and products. This is a challenging read, in many ways, but highly recommended for any D&T educator wanting to deepen their understanding of contemporary thinking in the subject. DOI: 10.1007/978-981-10-3106-9
